David Rodigan

David Rodigan first fell in love with Jamaican music in the mid 1960’s, fast forward 50 years and he’s become a household name in the sound. Rodigan has acted as tour DJ for a number of Reggae and Dancehall artists as well as broadcasting on BFBS Radio for 25 years. In 2006 Rodigan was inducted into the Radio Academy hall of fame.

Now a regular on BBC Radio 1xtra Rodigan is more than a household name, he’s a member of the British Member of the Order of the British Empire! He was awarded the MBE in 2012 for services to broadcasting.
