New Music Roundup: May - June
The weather has been heating up and so have the releases. From sun-kissed house grooves to techno body-movers, the latest EE23 music round up features tracks from Marcel Dettmann, Chris Stussy, ARTBAT, DJ Minx, Barry Can’t Swim, Miss Monique & Jean Pierre.
Marcel Dettmann - Electric Drive EP

Following on from the release of his first album in 10 years in 2022, the expansive 'Fear Of Programming', Berlin techno icon Marcel Dettmann returns with a brand new EP, Electric Drive. A full-bodied cut of driving, digitised techno, Electric Drive thrives on hypnotic intensity throughout the 4 track EP.
Chris Stussy - All Night Long

Locked away in the vault while being tried and tested on special occasions, including his Printworks debut and recent Mixmag Lab in London, Chris Stussy kicks off his new release series with ‘All Night Long’.
A signature Stussy production that looks set to elevate his rise even further via a skilfully crafted journey through rich synth melodies, skippy drums, and the iconic vocals at the heart of things. Not stopping there, the b-side is loaded with the warping and cosmic sonics of the excellent ‘Rose Bay’ for a special bonus treat.
ARTBAT & Another Life - Breathe In

Inner City, the group that took Detroit techno to the masses, return with the remix package for their latest single ‘Reach’. Queen of the Motor City, DJ Minx turns up the intensity with her dancefloor centred flip.
Barry Can't Swim - Woman

Barry Can’t Swim returns with ‘Woman’, taken from his hugely anticipated debut album set to drop later this year. The song pivots between club tropes and a gorgeous vocal, provided by alt-pop luminary Låpsley.
Miss Monique - Rebirth EP

Dim the lights and ramp up the acid, Miss Monique is back with another triumphant two tracker on her own imprint, Siona Records. The Ukrainian artist has had a whirlwind 12 months and continues to impress with a stellar release schedule.
Jean Pierre - O.D.D. Twitch EP

New York City's finest Jean Pierre is back on Dreams On Wax exploring his more underground side. Delivering 2 original cuts that blend minimalistic touches and solid baselines with his usual constant groove.
